This is Life

One:

Let me share someone's life history with you:

This was a man who failed in business at the age of 21;

Was defeated in a legislative race at age 22;

Failed again in business at age 24;

Overcame the death of his sweetheart at age 26;

Had a nervous breakdown at age 27;

Lost a congressional race at age 34;

Lost a senatorial race at age 45;

Failed in an effort to become vice-president at age 47;

Lost a senatorial race at age 49;

And he was elected president of the United States at age 52.

This man was ABRAHAM LINCOLN.

Every success story is also a story of great failure.

Another:

Arthur Ashe, the legendary Wimbledon player was dying of AIDS.

From world over, he received letters from his fans, one of which conveyed: "Why does GOD have to select you for such a bad disease"?

To this Arthur Ashe replied:

The world over:–

5 crore children start playing tennis,

50 lakh learn to play tennis,

5 lakh learn professional tennis,

50,000 come to the circuit,

5000 reach the grand slam,

50 reach Wimbledon,

4 to semi final,

2 to the finals,

When I was holding a cup I never asked GOD "Why me; and today in pain I should not be asking GOD "Why me?"

Be thankful to GOD for 98% of good things in life.
